The Kammer Ensemble teams up with glorious soprano, Penelope Mills,to present an unashamedly English program in the lead up to the London Olympic Games. All composers presented were either born, studied, or currently live in the great city. Conducted by Paul Stanhope, the program includes works by Mark-Anthony Turnage, Thomas Ades, George Benjamin, and Harrison Birtwistle. ‘Soprano Penelope Mills, whose clear, full voice was a true delight…this promising talent is budding in an exciting way.’ Sydney Morning Herald.
